This is a high-quality, replacement Diverter Valve for your B7-A4 2.0T. Sometimes this valve is referred to as the N249 valve. This part is the latest part number from Audi-Volkswagen featuring an upgraded piston style valve. This part is made by the Original Equipment Manufacturer Pierburg which is the same company that made this piece for Audi when the cars rolled out of the factory.

Previous versions of this valve are infamous for failing due to a ripped diaphragm and causing boost leaks which can lead to pesky Check Engine Lights – and worst of all – poor performance. This updated valve is completely redesigned by Audi and no longer features a rubber diaphragm. Sometimes when this valve fails you can get the following code:
