Solenoid for Vacuum System (Pierburg-OEM) Manifold Flaps, Airbox, and more for B7-RS4

This is an OEM vacuum solenoid. These can fail or get plugged and be responsible for various failures of parts regulated by the motor’s vacuum systems. There are two of these valves on the B7-RS4.

One valve is located on the front, lower portion of the intake manifold. This valve regulates the vacuum that controls the movement of the runner flaps in your intake manifold. If you have the following codes present at the same time, it is likely that this solenoid or the vacuum lines running to it have failed:
– 008213 – Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 1)
P2015 – 008 – Implausible Signal
– 008224 – Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 2)
P2020 – 008 – Implausible Signal

The other valve is positioned near the airbox and controls the vacuum that regulates a small flap in airbox.
